Antan Producing Limited (APL) is a fully integrated exploration and production company, proudly serving as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL). With operational offices in Abuja and Lagos, as well as field operations in Izombe, Port Harcourt, and a logistics base in Calabar, APL is strategically positioned to manage and develop key oil and gas assets that contribute significantly to Nigeria’s energy landscape.
Our History
Antan Producing Limited was established with a clear vision: to take full control of key oil and gas assets and maximise their potential for Nigeria’s benefit. Our journey reached a major milestone on February 1, 2023, when APL officially assumed operations of four strategic Oil Mining Leases (OMLs) previously managed by Addax Petroleum Development Nigeria Ltd.
This transition marked the conclusion of a 24-year Production Sharing Contract between Addax and NNPC, ushering in a new era where APL, as an indigenous company, ensures that these assets are developed with a focus on efficiency, sustainability, and national interest.
